Where I had 7 keepers at in the first 35 minutes on Saturday and caught good unders on Friday when Sunday rolled aroung I fished that area until 9:30 and caught 4 slot fish all around 4 lbs in less than 3 ft of water............ not one under. I thought we were done, but finally moved around until we found them in one spot managed 6 keepers all day long. I can easily see how it could have went bust for us on that last day. Oh well a couple more tourneys here and there but my arse is gonna be up in a tree until February my brothers. Catching Big Ole PIGS... We struggled on Saturday and would consider it to be one of the toughest days I have fished on Fork in a long time. We also had a lot of boats on the few spots we felt like had the fish. Sunday not so much on the boat traffic and we hit a motherload in one spot that made the day. Looking forward to 2012 but I dont figure we will get the championship on Fork in 2012. Was good to see lots of the regulars in the payout line. |
