July 10th me and Matthew, and DJS from TBH, along with another friend of mine hit Chocolate Bay just south of Galveston. We fished with Captain Greg Francis who did a hell of a job puttin us on some trout and flounder. Just this past weekend I fished with Hillbillie from TBH, his son and another friend on San Antonio Bay. The bite was a little slow but Captain Chris Martin put us on some nice specs and reds. I can put you in touch with either guide if you'd like. Fishing is alot like sex: Even when it's bad it's still pretty good!

Nice fish Dale... You have been doing some serious driving. I am hoping to make it down to the coast this September and do some flounder gigging. Maybe while there for the alligator hunt. Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Dale, you have been whacked... I got rid of the other one that was burried under the moderator topic. Had you not posted this one, I would have just moved it to the ramp. Man... I miss the coast... Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Here's one my best friend caught a couple months back, on a trip we took to Padre Island Natl Seashore. It went 39 inches. BTW-Are gratuitous alchohol shots legal here?

Great pics Les, you do know that boat will work in fresh water right... I will be looking into the bay boats instead of a bass boat for my next purchase -- much easier to care for and shallower draft. Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

I'd like to post a picture of my new Bay Ranger 2300 but it is in the fiberglass shop having cracks in the Gel-Coat on the decking repaired - then it has to go back to the dealer to have the wash-down system and a few other problems fixed. |

Check with me before you buy another boat Dean... I am just glad that they are bending over backwards to get this taken care of. Now you need to try and get something out of it like a bigger trolling motor or a better graph. Maybe free tune-ups for 3 years or something. It's rediculous to have a boat for a few months and have that many problems with it. I had higher expectations for Ranger boats... Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Wes, do you realize you typed Stones and Good all the in the same sentence! That can't happen too often. What was Dale's line in Carta: "I've been known too drink myself stupid, and it only takes about two." He must have been retarded after this weekend. Chicken, if you buy a good beer it does not take 30 packs. But looks like you guys had a good time anyway. |

Dale and Chicken, U boys ever want to make a road trip to Southeast La to really catch redfish, you know who to call. I can't ever get Wes or Picou to come down. You can ask DJS about the fishing around here and it is probably better now than when he was here last. Got the boats and camps lined up already. Will start taking pictures to show you what catching fish is all about! |

No problem. I'm off every Friday, Sat, and Sunday when I'm not charter fishing which usually slows down anytime. I personally don't have an awesome boat but it catches fish (ie, I charter for 2-3 oilfield companies in their boats). I'm pretty open for Sept but booked from Oct to end of Nov. |
