I am at Fork for a couple of days and my boat isnt running right. I only have a few more days before I have to go back to New Jersey. The boat ran perfect the last time I had it out. Which was the JCO tourney in Aug or Sept I know letting it sit for months at a time is not good. Before I moth balled it, I used Stabil, filled it up with ethanol free gas, and cleaned the back well. I started it up this mornin and it sounded OK. When I went to get on plane I could only get about 3,000 RPMs. I do not remember when, but the water filters in the feul system have been recently changed. I did mess up when trying to start it the first time today. I pumped the bulb about three different times before realizing the kill switch was not in. Could this have fouled the plugs? I would really like to get ths thing on the water tomorrow. I know it will be a miracle but I dont have any more time... Sorry about the alcohol induced thread but I need some quick advice. I have searched beneath the cowling and have not found or smelled any excessive fuel leaks nor did I seee any burnt or disconnected wires. Help me please Chuck GIG'EM AGGIES

If it is a carb motor I would say it is a plugged up jet. If its injected then I have no clue. Hope they get you back on the water ASAP. Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

I have water coming out of the block in an area where I dont think there should be water. The gasket is blown out on some cover plate near the intake manifold. Putting it in the shop today. Doesn't look too good. Chuck GIG'EM AGGIES
