50 degrees today. Perfect for grouse. Went to rattlesnake hill flushed some birds wanted to hit one more spot in a valley between two steep hills on single lane seasonal limited access road..(that means they don't plow it in da winter softies) stopped at the top of the hill most of the snow was melted lookin down the south side so went on down. Shot two birds but then when I pulled out the top quarter mile of the hill was still all ice first try was a wimper had to back down, second try floored it and still didn't make it to the top and almost slid in the ditch backen back down so .....thought to myself know one knows where hell you are or how to get here... you might not make it outta here..so...i back on up as far as I could adjusted the sand bags in the bed more toward the back of the truck told myself to quit being a pussy and went fn 90 fish talin all the way to the top yellin yee haw.... got out took a piss on that hill and came home. Ya that's right I still got a pair they just hang a little lower. | |||||||||
