Its was a tuff day on the water...it was a grind for sure...Those fish in Glade just never really turned on for us but we did squeak out 4 keepers...our traps kept getting caught up in the thick grass so it was a pain all day!

That's crazy Oz, we never found the grass in Glade but found some fish here and there, with a North east wind like that Glade is the only place to be.

Chatterbaits slow rolled were the ticket......

Thanks Dyson, about 11 am I wish I would have been in Mercados sipping Margaritas for sure, sounds much better then rain soaked crackers and Dr. Peppers haha

Congrats guys on representing FTN on a very tough day. My new Bass Pro waterproof boots were more like a sponge. By 10am my toasty toes were popsickles.
Bill and I had 10 bites with two small slots. I only had two of those bites but both were keeper fish. Bill said it had been slow when pre fishing on Thursday and that he had not caught a limit in over a week. At noon we were sitting on 3 fish and I had yet to get a bite. We made a couple of culls late in the day that got us to 3rd place. Tough in every sense of the word!!!
Sorry did not get to visit much, David was shorthanded on this one so I jumped in to help.
We had our mexican food fix at Peraltas about 6 PM.

Great job everybody. That Howitzer guy is turning into a hustler for sure.
I drove my truck to the bucket to check in and then picked up sandwiches in Alba on the way back. We ate and went back to sleep. We left the trailer at ~8:30. It was not bad out at that time. Stayed dry and toasty all day…….. Ozzie had some new coffee cups that kept the coffee hot until after 11:00. It was all good. I saw anglers putting in at the 515 at 6:15, yikes! To each his own…..
Thanking the Lord, all day long

Not a bad plan Tom.....

I was told you could't leave the ramp until your time on the tag, at the ramp we were at everyone was under that impression as well, not a big deal but I think this was a new rule this year not sure though! Glad I heard some people talking about it at the marina or I would have gone ahead and launched and waited for the start time.

The truck sure was nice!

Yeah, I think you could launch but you just can't leave the ramp area until your start time. Is that the way you guys understand it?

I bet it will be trailering all season for Media unless the lake comes all the way back up.

Each flights start time was the leave the ramp time. Forney Bass Club had 41 boats launching at Hwy 17 Public Ramp off of 515 as well. They may have been allowed to leave prior to Media Bass first flight start time of 7:00AM.
Don't know about being a hustler Tommy did you see how bad I stunk it up at Amistad in the FLW, just got some lucky bites on a slow day for sure.
We both agreed that we should spend the remaining 2 1/2 hours of fishing in the only spot we had more than one bite and it paid off. Fish turned on the last half hour for us.
Props to T1 and T2 as well, those guys are firing on all cylinders for sure.
Hope to see some of you guys this weekend in some better weather I hope.
