Laugh if you want, but this is the first tournament Im actually nervous about. For the first time in while, Im actually on the fish to not only win this thing, but blow it open. And consistantly. Just anxious cause i know there will be boats in there, and worried about the draw. If we are an early draw, it will be very good for us. If we are in a later flight, we will just have to fish. Go Friday and find multiple places close to their with fish on beds..... have three or four back up plans if you draw late bud. Shut the hell up Sinkey!!!! Confidence brother... Confidence!!!! Boat draw don't matter, just delays the quickness of us putting a limit in the boat by a few minutes. Boat draw does not determine the winner... We got nothing to worry about. Your homework is solid and we know how to catch them. All we have to do is just go catch some fish and not worry about what others are doing -- those things are out of our control. I'm excited dude! We should have a great time and catch a bunch of fish. We get a late draw, we just sit back and take it easy till we get to leave. We get an early draw, we go put the smack down on some fish a little sooner.... Nope. We felt the wrath that is known as Roberts. Saturday was like nothing I had ever seen. We didn't quite "0" but got dang close. First time I've never showed back to a weigh in. Picou and I had 3 for maybe 8 lbs. and dumped them at 3:30 and went to the ramp. It was one of if not the most frustrating and most unbelievable days on the water I have had. The fish I had been on for 2 weeks just flat out left. They were even there Friday! But not Saturday. Craziest thing I've seen. | |||||||||

Billy, I think they had been letting water out for days and stopped on Saturday. When I drove over the dam it did not look like a high flow of water. I had checked on Thursday and they were releasing. Looking at the graph of RR lake level it would appear that Friday they were releasing and Saturday they stopped. I think it is as simple as the fish moved. We made a decision not to beat the bank for bucks and stuck with the deeper water looking for the quality bites. They never came. Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish
