i went tonite and caught about 60 sandies but not a single crappie. fished nasworthy (not the best crappie lake) and fished all my regular haunts. deep shallow bridges docks everything that i could think of but not a single crappie? weird

Bummer on not finding the crappie. I would think that they are still relating to deep water structure at this time, but the warm weather may have them screwed up temporarily. Glad you were at least able to reel in some sandies though. Congrats on getting a line stretched....

Well you caught some fish anyway and by the sound of it a bunch of them white bass.

come to nastworthy and you can catch all the whites and smallish hybrid you want ( i dont like to clean sandies dont mind most other breeds but not sandies)

I know how you feel Strum... I am very eager to hit the lake and catch some lunker largemouths on soft plastics. Them stripers were a lot of fun this weekend but I am chompin at the bit to hook into some pre-spawn bucket mouths.
