Me and Sinkey got a two day break coming this week packed full of fishing and power drinking in the evenings.. We'll take a few pictures to show you boys how to have fun while everyone else (is) supposed to be working..

One Day-Lance Vick
One Day-Mark Pack

Both good deepwater guys-- It's gonna be:
Mafouz & Sinkey ** vs ** KBD

Should be a blast, YES-even Kay is all in on this deal...
Each team fishes one day with one guide, then switch the next day and all go at it again.. LOL

LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...... Yeah we haven't been on the water much together this year... We're both looking forward to the experience we rarely use a guide. Having a good friendships with both will make it a great couple of days, Vick and Pack are fun as heck to fish with.. Dang sure takes the pressure off me, I love that..
I highly recommend either one..

I hope so Charles, my inability to put Kay on a fish over 10-lbs has haunted me for years. She’s had them hooked, I could get it in the boat for her.
Pack caught a 10+ yesterday and Vick had 2-in the last week. Maybe they can bust the DD threshold for her, I dang sure can't.

Chris Mafouz aka.(Fouzman) talked to both Vick and Pack yesterday. The forecast looks good for bunched up big fish, Zeeter was spot on with his prediction according to what went down yesterday on the lake.. We’ll see..

Guide Holes....check
Community Holes.....check
Milk Run..... Check

Funny thing is I was on one.... this one guy in a ranger pulls up by himself starts fishing probably 30 yards away, then asks if I was in the tournament. I say yes, then he proceeds to say, Well you are alright where you are........

Bawhahahhaa I laughed out loud and said, I know junior KVD told me I should fish here, they just quit biting before you got here......

He looked at me like ..... oh ok..... and then started trolling off!

LOL...Pick you called it brotha, how did you guys do in that Thursday nighter we watched blast by us, man--that looked like a shot gun start. Hadn't seen that since the 80's kind of dangerous IMO..

It was a hell-a-va two days fishing, the heat and the bite were at opposite ends of the spectrum.. Lost two big fish today.... I was absolutely owned on my second cast of the morning rigged up heavy-no dropshots; 50-lb braid-25lb mono 4/0 superline hook--fish bent the hook and pulled free, short lined me at the boat an took me to school.
Kay hooked up today at 5:00pm with what can only be call a brute-it had her rod bent at a 75'degree angle from the reel seat (Whoooooooa). That fish was unstopable, I've only seen her hang on for dear life like that once.. It was Fun Fun Fun. Lance Vick and the PackMan are IMO two of the best on Fork.... Of course hang'n with Sinker and Fouz was the bomb we drank and partied till 1:00 am with a 11:00 am roll call sleeping in was a delight.. Heat of the day baby, brutal but worth it..

LOL... Your right on Charles... To hot for red/solos, we had 20.oz sytrofoam cups to handle the heat. Fouz was admittedly over served Thursday night, = 1 bottle of crown. LOL..

We had to ck that point out Pick, I don't know why IMHO.. Saw Eddie(livebait)Garret there 2-hrs before.

Ozzy I was amazed, I did learn a couple new deep holes from Lance, and 4-from Packman..
One thing I noticed I hadn't so much in the past was, the number of livebait fisherman out..
Huuuuuuuuummm.

That was a fun 2 days for sure. I have never seen Fork with so many bait fisherman on deep holes. Those 2 worked their butts off Thursday to find fish. One of those Summer days where they are just flat out scattered.
Friday was just stupid though!!!!!

Thanks again Billy for everything.

We strolled/trolled DD22's and Strike King 6-xd's no kidding down to 25' foot. I wish I had taken a picture of my DD22's lip it had mud on it.. I couldn't believe it, 12-lb mono will stretch enough to get it down there. Mostly in Sexy Shad pattern..

Soft plastics were on a 3/8 shakey head with G2 8" inch needle worms in RedBug.. that hauled in the numbers. The ol Dropshot had it share of Fish up to 6-lbs, along with a heckav'a tournament sack on Friday all on RedBug Shad Trick worm. These fish weren't skinny, the oppisite to be quite frank. We could have given Don-Pickle and his Fork Mafia Gang a run for their pesco's with our best 5, so could have Sinkey an Fouz. fat lil buggers.. Sweeeeet, that's pretty much the long and the short of it unless Sinkey wants add anything...

We only had 5 boated with Pack, but lost a couple. All on c-rigs and the 3/8 shakey head. I was using the G2's I brought, and they were using 10" LFT worms, both in Red Bug.

Friday with Vick, we had over 40, with about 1/4 of those coming on 6XD's strolling, and all the rest on the shakey heads. Lance already texted me today to get him somemore of those worms. They are eating them for sure!!!
