Just got released from the hospital... Had a bowel rupture, no known reason as of yet, test coming Friday. Lost over 3-pints of blood before it stopped, scared the hell out of me.. Felt strange for a few hours before I realized what was going on, when you fill the toliet with blood 4 times it's not a good sign, time to head towards the hospital, which we did. By all indications it a condition I can't pronounce--Dietriculidous.. Lots of test coming Firday, this getting old chit isn't for wimps.. LOL.. Anyway--I fell great right now the bad stuff is behind me hopefully.. Just a lil FYI to my buds on where I been... | ||

Terry..Divirticuli are nodules that form on your large intestine wall. They become inflamed over time and can rupture sending feces in to your abdomen. This will cause you to go septic and if not treated very soon will kill you. It is still not known what causes them, But by eating a high fiber diet seems to keep them from flaring up as often. I went through surgery to remove a large section of my colon that had infected and destroyed the tissue. A year later I had another surgery to re-connect my colon. They wait that long so the scar tissue has time to heal before they reconnect you. While they were there they removed any other diverticuli that was present. Wearing a bag to •••• in for a year fishing tourneys was not fun.....Do what the Doc says Billy and keep us updated. | ||

Well, they took 14 palups from my sweet azz.. That is some kind of record they tell me*(not good)* no visual cancer, but the test will be back next week. This is one time I'm not proud to set the bar going forward, they found one big as your thumb, that is rare most are in the 2-4 mm range, this one was 3.4 CM that's a big boy.. I feel great right now, hope it stays that way for a while longer... I still got some fishing to do.. | ||
