Off to Fort Ticonderoga - we got three days to find large bass! Hey - the French and English really went ALL THE WAY to guard their fishing holes - right?

biggest bass was 5 lbs - large mouth. We each got some 4 lb fish, and a bunch in the threes- The guy I was with caught a turbo pike, 11 lbs- It jumped twice and went completely nuts at the boat - "turbo pike".. Not sure how the line did not bite off.. But it didnt. Good time in NYS (Message edited by elderoz on September 11, 2012) |

On the VT side - out of St Albans for instance- Carolina rigs - long flouro leaders. deep rocks and ridges. Ideally spots w/current. Probably going to have wind on the main lake -Its a HUGE body of water - - My marks are out of St Albans on the VT side - You're pretty far from my few little bassholes on that monster of a lake. I wind up going to Ti 3 times out of 4 myself. You'll find some - what a great time to go looking!!! People talk about Champlain Park and Cumberland bay in Plattsburg as a good starting spot. You must be jacked! Dont forget your tomato worms ;) |
