Oldest son bass fished with me yesterday, all day we get done came back to the house ate and while we was watchin football he says: You know dad, we need to do alot more steely fishin this fall...goes outside comes back in and hands me this new Echo 9' 8 wt. fly rod. But now I'm pissed cause I got a shiny stainlees reel and dang it ..that rod is only gonna look bad a$$ if it has a matte black reel sittin on it  The best part about new toys is ya just hafta play with em. CAN'T WAIT | ||

I got old stuff as far as fly fishing equipment goes. Think he felt sorry for me last year. Lost alot of fish after I hooked em. The kid is a beauty to watch with a fly rod in his hand he's takin it to a level far above me. Alot time I just sit there and watch him. | ||
