Looks like the old 21 ft. dime will be poking around at Fork again next year for a few. Legends and Skeeter for sure, maybe McDonalds, even though I said Id never fish another one. So look out boys, the "one and only, never lonely" will be back son! |

Excited Dennis. Haven't fished a tourney out there since Legends year before last. Other than those, I'll be found on Lewisville. |

Zach you won't get many shots at spanking Sink unless you go all in on the big show events.. 1-fish wonders buddy, perfect tournaments for the competitive angler that has no desire to spend 100+ days on the water to compete in the regular trail events.. You have to have a great network or have your azz on the water alot to compete--I know, been there done that.. No More. In the big fish events, you can pull on the knowledge and time on the water over MANY years to help you get that ONE fish, sometimes more(if you're lucky) for that day.. Perfect events for people that know the lake and don't mind the crowds.... It's a whole new out look on competing on Fork, without the comit to a monthly trail... If you hit, you hit BIG, that's huge compared to say a single win in Media---do the math, the odds vs payback are very close in a apples to apples comparison with a lot less expense..IMO.. Example--RMAX 2-fish-$183,000.00 smackers... |

Point; counter Point, one pair of shoes will not fit everyone. Being I have almost a decade to go before I can reside full time in the land of plenty, focusing on the one fish big payout fits our lifestyle and available time constraints. Don't think we won't visit you boyz at Media or other events if I feel the lake has returned to its former state of grassdom..LOL. I hate fishing baron earth…. |

Billy its the 100+ days on the water I like... I don't fish tournaments for profit, thats fer dang sure.. yeah its nice to turn 80 bucks into several hundred occassionally but it aint a job. I think mostly the competition gets me jacked up, and it helps relieve the hangover.. It just feels good to win every now and again, or at least cash a check.. For some reason I usually dont do well in the Big bass deals- not sure why but the money fish usually elude me all freakin day.. If I want profit I'll go to Joe pool and it aint near enough- we catch bigger fish there anyway, Now that lake has Hydrilla in it again the Pigs are Getting Fat... This one licked Dustins Yellow Magic off a Patch of hydrilla last night to win BB- 7.45 and only a little over 21" |

Fork is no different from any other lake as far as the homeboys go. Fork just gets more publicity because of the amount of tourneys there. Thanking the Lord, all day long --- tomc
