Kay and I took the kids and grandkids out Saturday(fantastic weather day)for some fishing in the big yeller toon.. Our goal was to catch a few crappie, well we did. I broke my personal best so did Kay, biggest crappie I've ever seen. We had a great day, mostly all fish came on small minners, lil bitty suckers and a couple on jigs. A few bar fish(8-10) an only one sandbass, sitting in 25-30 ft one crank off the bottom was the ticket. Hardly any wind off the ridge at the mouth of Alligator that day, I actually got hot an stripped down to a T-shirt shorts for a while.. Wonderful day, along with some bonus time with the kids, building memories. On the way home saw Pickle burning a huge tree late in the day, made for some nice pictures. That was a big tree…. | ||

I hope to repeat this coming weekend, looks windy though, no matter I have anchors. They had fun, the faces were pricless... We did see the iceman at the ramp showed him a couple nice ones out of the ice chest. | ||
