Ok here is what happened...... We had a limit by 8 am 8 lbs I would say. Eric catches THE fish we put her on the board and boom perfect, pushed up against the board tail closed swished back and forth so we cull a 15 incher with her. Eric has the ranger board so we get to the ramp measure her on 2 different pro-rule not check it sticks and everyone that saw the fish said toad under. Get back and take the bag to the scales, guy puts the fish up on the stick and says Dude that is a 17 1/2 inch fish...... Eric tells the guy to close the dang mouth and put him on the board. He does and then says this exactly...... one little switch of his tail touches the line, we say flip it over he does same exact thing but he doesn't ever once close the tail. Eric takes the fish to the courtesy board with the officials there and measures the fish. Its good takes it back to the tourney board they are using and he says it still touches.......?????? Long story short, its a slot lake and we were trying to win. One guys way of measuring is different then I guess people that do it all the time. Who knows but I know we lost several hundred dollars over a centimeter. Lifes a game of inches boys. There you go straight from the horses mouth. Not sure but same thing happen to Bruce and he is PO'ed. Catching Big Ole PIGS...
