I've been giving the OK to go crappie fishing thursday. They are calling for rain so I'm thinking about hooking up with a fishing buddy that has a boat house on Texoma. If that don't work out it will be back to Bonham.

Well fishing was a little slow today. Between my partner and I we ended up with 12 keepers. Most of the fish came out of sunken brushpiles in and around boathouses. Sorry for the poor pics. I was in a hurry to get home and didn't have time to lay them out.

Your right Mike, five of those fish were eaten tonight. We were hoping for a little better results. They just weren't that aggresive today. May try to go back this weekend if I'm able. Fishing boat houses in the winter time is great. You can get to the fish without having to mess with the boat. Sure does make things easier, especially on these cold windy days.

Managed to make it back out today. My buddy and I caught 9 more keepers together. Took some pictures but didn't have time to load them due to having to work tonight. I'll try to post them later on this week.

Kewl... I sure wish I could get a couple hours to make it out and fish. I already have this weekend planned for me... It is unlikely that I will be able to make it to the lake.
