That's about the best we got. They drive you nuts. Bass are in two groups. The ambushers in the grass you can catch. The deep 25 to 30 feet are larger fish and always runnin on bait no deep structure to hold em hard to stay with em and hard to catch. They don't like the DD22s too big I think did that strollin sheet with 6 pound fluoro to get the little N down there. All right I'll give it to you..................... all y'all n yourin two tex fags taught me that.

LOL.. Dude you ain't cranked an XD10 yet...Lordy that thing is a beast.. best rig/setup is a dobyns 805 with a 300 curado 10-12 lb test.. drop a way point on the target area idle down below it, pitch the monster C/B out, set a heading for the way point, cross over the spot and go another 100-yards past the spot , engage the reel, idle just long enough to get the beast down to depth, kill the big engine and turn the motor hard to port and start reeling my friend.. Oh -- point the rod directly at the lure, less effort with the reel pulling directly on the C/B, once you hook up bring the rod into play.. have fun....

I saw that thing in Bass Pro almost bought it but I can't get bit on the DD22s that thing is a whale. I'm lookin for a Little N size body that can get down to 20 feet put weight tape on but ruins the wobble some. there's some Jap crap out there but $$$$$$$$$$$.

Back in the day my brother and I would rig a C-rig set up with a longer than normal lite line leader on small CB's to get them down deep as we could on Winnsboro. It'd work when nothing else would in the dog days like these we have now.
RedNeck down rigg'n Rick...you still got enough Texan in ya to try it....LOL

Ahhhhh I've used the three way swivel rig with a long leader, a dropper sinker and a smithwick rogue. But I feel like a dork every time I do it now.
