you guys dont see something wrong with giving these guys over 600k before they even hold one event? some yahoo's are even calling this the best trail in Texas and they have not held one single event. Just goes to prove there are people with money than sence.... | ||

Seems to me that a lot of people signed up just to feel like they were a part of something cool and new whether they are sticks or not. The braggarts are out in full force on Facebook. It doesn't cost me $4k-6k for an ego boost!! Lol. Having said that....anybody want to link up for the 2014-2015 series? ;-) | ||

Hummmm. I think Dennis is speaking words of caution, wisely. The guys promoting this deal are some sticks on,T-bend,Falcon,Rayburn... Great scheme to line ones pockets on his home lake..etc... JMO. What is the old saying ??? if it sounds to good to be true(an MACHO) toot-toot.. LOL... | ||

Not that i had any intentions of fishing it this year but....The part that really bothered me was the group of elite anglers that were on the board. They had a hand in determining the layout, rules, dates and the lakes. Obviously made around their schedules. Also, the fact that they wouldn't announce who they were until registration had already begun. 5-10 anglers don't make a trail....guaranteed or not. Just seemed shady to me. That's the one thing of very few things I have ever agreed with ole Ranger Fowler on in 27 years of knowing him. | ||

Yeah SinkDog and I were talking about it yesterday, he brought up some of the board members... Castledine,Ciecl,Newberry...etc...etc... Hummmmm Granted 10 anglers won't make a trail run every event, but hey !!!! it is their backyards. I wouldn't give a dude from Abilene a ghost chance in hell against Pickle,Zach, Eric, Chuck,,,, etc on Fork in an event like this. Take BassChamps for instance, local domination of the top 15-20 in general... | ||
