Anyone but me doing any night fishing ??? It's about the only time my chemo'd azz can stand to be on the water-cept for early in the morning... Nice fish coming outta deep water (hit&miss) shallow is better for the most part---believe this !!! on topwaters.. | ||

Chuck and I were in a tourney recently and were sitting on a road bed catching a few keepers. Bite was slow and it was hotter than hatties. We were marking a lot of fish with some huge arches on the screen and could not get them to bite anything... We are not ones to fish with all the latest gimmicks and certainly don't go for the reaction bite in tourneys very often...But on this day ole Pickle decided enough was enough and out came the a-rig..... Chuck instantly started laughing when that thing hit the water and sounded like someone dropped a brick overboard. Much like "Quit that, You're going to spook the fish"..... First cast...23.5 incher about ten pounds... Second cast...23 incher about 9 pounds... Third cast...23 incher about 8 pounds.... At this point I'm laughing so hard as I put it away because those three fish had completely destroyed it and I didn't have another one. He is still not convinced......Of coarse he was laughing because it caught my tennis shoe twice as well..Lotta hooks on that thing... | ||
