Northern pike - on a tip-up they can peel off serious line. You wind up hand lining the fish-- fighting the fish on your fingertips,,, its fun-- it lets you know whats up on the other end- and 'whats up' is pissed off Hey you Texans!! --- you might like even this ice stuff.. - assuming you got a warm coat and you like grilled Venison Backstrap, cold beers, and even colder Bourbon.
