I love these fishing shirts so the last time I was at Academy I picked up a few more and sent them to my embroiderer to have the logo put on them. I also picked up a Brazos duck cloth insulated jacket and had it done also.

What'cha think...

Now I have 5 of these short sleeve shirts with the FTN logo on them. I will probably pick up some long sleeve ones soon and have them done also.

Here is the jacket

Since I figured out how to take up close pictures with my camera now that it has dried out, I took some new pics of the FTN caps. I still need to take a better picture of the sticker also.

Looks great Mike, now all you need is a large decall added to your boat.

Caps are available currently at Caps & Stickers :-). If you want one of these shirts or a jacket, I can certianly make an effort and get some but they will not be cheap (probably $30 for shirts and $55 or so for jackets). Also, it will be subject to what I can find available.

I've searched the internet and have not found wholesale prices or quantities of these items yet. I will continue to look for a source that will make it cost effective for me to actually inventory some. For now I will just keep caps and stickers in stock and re-order as needed. For anyone who wants those type shirts or a jacket I will work on that as it is requested.

I'm jealous now!

Looks real good Mike. Wes left his decal in my truck, guess I need to drive over and stick it on his ride when he's inside working? :-)

I'm going to need a shirt for those TV interviews down at PINS this year.

Apparently there are a few other fishing web sites down there fishing for big sharks. I guess I better represent with some color this spring - fall.

By the way Mike, do you think a 14lb Largemouth will freeze well enough to kayak out as a bone-a-fide shark bait? :-)

"By the way Mike, do you think a 14lb Largemouth will freeze well enough to kayak out as a bone-a-fide shark bait?"

That should get someone going with that statement. As pitiful as it sounds, I can't seem to break the 6 lb mark and your talking about using a 14lb'er for shark bait. Bigger the bait, bigger the fish. Use a 18 lb'er instead. he he

:-)

If Mike catches him I will.....right! :-)

Down on the coast, they catch jack crevalle that weigh 10 - 25 lbs. Those fish are excellent fighting fish but horrible table fare. So they get converted into shark bait. Generally a super huge steel leader is threaded through the body, the tail cut off and hooks ride top and bottom (split leader rig style) and soaked off the beach 300 - 400 yards out.

It's a lot like bank fishing for large catfish. You don't get ate up with a ton of bites using super large baits but when you do.....hang on baby!

Rob, I am not too worried about you using large bass as shark bait. You would have to catch one first... :-) And about the sticker.... that is probably the only way it will make it to the back of his truck... :-)

I talked to my wife about the PINS trip and I have not completely worked the kitchen pass at this point. I have to plan my weekends away carefully so not to remove her completely from horse shows and clinics.

Don't worry about the June event if you can't make it. I plan on hitting PINS a bunch this year and Drifter is moving down there this spring to add to the madness. BarnacleBilly lives very close by and we can call him before hand to get him rolling with his son Cody.

Just keep it in mind. It's an experience thats out of this world when the big stuff starts feeding consistently along the surf line.

You might want to do a weight training routine in the meantime? Once we get one hooked up, I'm strapping you into the fighting harness and the entire deal is yours. I'll work the leader when he gets in close and do the lasso the tail duties but the rest is all yours :-)

Dang! Mrs. Bigun knows her business. Don't do that Cajungirl, Mikey might get a big ole head and we will then need to check his calendar for talk and socialization scheduling.

Any of you metroplex boys want to go to PINS I will be there. And unless Lightening strikes and a blind mine finds a pot of gold (I find a job) I will be going to PINS from the metromess and I know the way. I will be the white truck with the buzzards circling over it from the large burlap sacks full of raccoons for shark bait. :-)

LMAO BigP! Make sure your ready to swim those things out. After we get done with you down at PINS, you will feel like you tried out for the Dallas Cowboys Offensive line! :-)

Got to put some of these young whipper snappers to work by God!

Bigun, I don't know what it is about Mike and Wes, but they certainly have a way with the girls?

Thanks Cajungirl... I'm looking forward to getting some pictures of you on one of our horses.

Simek... the representation is most welcome... :-) Let me know when you want to come up and do some bass fishing.

P... How long is the ride down to the sand from the metromess? I need to go over to TRB and check out the plans. It would be a great experience for sure.

If the traffic is light I am hoping 6 to 7 hours. If Buckspert would chime in he could tell us. His folds still live in Corpus.
Mike,
I finally put my sticker on my truck this weekend. I took of my TTHA sticker and replaced it with yours. :-)
