Bosqueville won the series in a couple of tuff games in the Regional Semi-Finals. Bosqueville squeaked out the first game 1-0 in a pitchers dual where they executed aggressive base running and took advantage of a lead-off walk in the 6th. The girl stole second, advanced to third with 1 out, then scored when we overthrew first base after a ground ball to 3rd. The 3rd baseman (girl) looked the runner back just like she is supposed to then got in a rush and overthrew 1st. We squandered base runners and when it was all said and done had stranded 6 base runners throughout the game. Statistically, we beat them but they beat us in the only statistic that matters in the end -- runs. Game 2 played out different but similar with Bosqueville winning 6-5. They drew first blood with a 2 run homer in the 2nd but Trenton battled back and tied it in the bottom of the 2nd. Trenton pulled ahead plating 1 run in the 3rd but Bosqueville tied it up in the 5th. We went into the 7th tied and they scored 3 runs in the top of the 7th due to repeated errors. In the bottom of the 7th Trenton surged and plated 2 runs early. With runners on 1st & 3rd and 1 out it seemed like at worst we would go into extra innings but Bosqueville held Trenton down and finished strong retiring the side. It was a great game to watch and I am proud of these girls for the heart and determination they showed in that last game. They never gave up and battled to the end. They finished the season as 1A Regional Semi-Finalists and now we are looking forward to next year.  Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish
