So much has been going on with the girls that I have been trying to keep up. However, a couple of weeks ago Jessica was nominated for Homecoming Queen and then by some stroke of luck... She was selected Queen....

All lined up and waiting for the announcement:

Announced Homecoming Queen:

The New Queen...

That next morning we were on the road at 4:00AM headed to Sulphur, LA for a softball tournament.

It is never a dull moment around here!!!!
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Thanks KBD... I miss being with all my Lake Fork family but I would not pass up these last few years with my girls for anything. I have been able to attend most of their softball games, take tons of pictures, I have been to almost every one of Corey's horse events and basketball games. I even got to be the assistant coach for the girl's select softball team this past summer and that was a blast being able to coach them one more time.

I am very proud of both of my girls and with their high school days coming to a close I am going to miss these days.

Next year will be a very emotional year for Connie and I. Jessica accepted a scholarship offer from Crowder College in SW Missouri next year to play softball with them so I am sure we will do a little traveling to go watch them play. They live stream all of their games so at least I will be able to see the games remotely. Corey will be a senior so that will mark our last year of high school sports and activities.

Connie commented one day, "What are we going to do with ourselves when both girls have graduated?" I said. "I don't know about you but I'll be fishing..." :-)
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

LOL..... You will be fishing.. just saw your email from thursday, we had a heck of a storm thursday knocked our power out until late Sat we had to pack all our frozen meat and get it to Fork early Friday. Been busy showing the house, lots of lookers-thats a good thing, major pain in the butt to leave for an hour while they show it, I'll get over it.
Sounds like Connie will be in N.O. when we are.
All my stuff is still the same contact info, you got me.
Hang in there brotha, you'll get to rest before to long..
