Jessica has had a great closing season with the Trenton Lady Tigers softball team. The only negative to her senior year is that Corey did not get to play because of the ACL injury in Basketball. Trenton swept their district and went 12-0 for the first time in school history. They are currently in Regional Semi-Final round of playoffs and have that game Friday night at Highland Park High School softball field against the Moody Bear-cats. During district play, Jessica broke the school record for stolen bases and has added another 6 or 7 to her total since the post season started. If it all ends this Friday, they at least made it as far as they have the previous 2 seasons and she can be proud of her performance for the year.  I have taken a ton of pictures throughout the season and post-season. I will post some when I get some time. Our last series against Bells got some local news coverage. Game 1 recap has Jessica getting thrown out at 1st although I think she was safe and the first baseman was impeding her ability to get to first going for the ball. Jessica's mistake was trying to avoid the first baseman -- should have ran through her.
