I have been dooing some glass etching for TRB's upcoming trip to Baffin Bay. One of the site sponsors also requested I do one for him. Just thought I would see what yall thought of them.

Charles,
You can do it either by sandblasting or by chemical etch. These were done by chemical since some of the spaces are small the sandblasting could move it and damage the stencil on the mirror.

$25 to $50 dollars depending on how complex the design on it is. The hardest part is cutting out the stencil. It takes me about 4 hours to cut out the Baffin ones as I have to take breaks because my hands start cramping.

I have done a couple of ATM and Colorado State UNiversity for some VETS my sisters works with. Don't have any pics but they turned out real good.

Hot dog! I took a wild guess but the mesquite popping up in the background certainly didn't look like Kansas. :-)

I've never been but it seems to me maybe a few of us need to start planning a little outing like that sometime down the road?
