Hey Tex... I have marked it down to take Friday off. Looking at the forcast this morning they are calling for a high of 52, clouds and light rain... Perfect weather conditions for Monticello... :-)

We still on?
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

I'm ready. My wife asked today if we were still going so I will let her know I will not be availabe Friday.

I saw the forecast and thought the same thing. I can see the fog already. Let me know how you want to work out the details. I can give you a call or just post on here. Either way is fine wiht me.

I can go as early as you want. I did not write your number down and it will probably be to hard to find it on my wifes phone. If you want to email it to me you can send it to
m-morgan3@ti.com or fishrhunt@earthlink.net

Will do...

I am looking forward to this trip. It is refreshing to see that they are catching fish up to 8 pounds on Monticello lately. I just hope that the patters that use to be so productive are still working. I'll probably start with a red trap tied on but most of my efforts will be put into the black/red flake lizard. I read that the water is 2' low right now so I will have to see what the grass is like. It's been a lot of years...

I am also looking forward to fishing with Tex and him showing me some of the lake I am probably not familiar with. The big question is... who's favorite area do we start at??? :-)

I'm thinking the dam end of the lake might still have some spawning fish since it is generally colder than the lower end. I think that area would be a good place to start and then we can go fight the stumps later on.

We haven't worked that out yet. I've got to call Mike tonight and work out the details. You need to come on over. I figure between you and Mike I would probably at least get to see a big fish.

Tex, you act all innocent and all... You are going to put the whoopin on us I can already tell... :-)

How early do you want to be at the lake or better yet, how early do you want to wake up?

Rudey, you are absolutely welcome to join us. I may charge the crankin battery tonight... :-)

I'm rigged and ready. Hope your fealing better Mike, I know your itching to get out there.

Rudy, you might as well come on. It's going to be to nice of a day to be working. Beside adding another fisherman would make it that much easier to figure out the pattern.

I feel like a lead weight is on top of my chest right now but that is an improvement. I am still planning on fishing tomorrow. I'm only coughing every 5 minutes or so instead of almost constantly.
