The fish out at my ranch just seem to ALWAYS hit the plastics, I seem to have my best luck tossin' a 6" Strike King 3X Lizard, usually in the Black/Red Shad pattern. Especially in the spring time, flipping on the beds.

All the other times I have been tossin' a Gary Yamamoto(sp?) Senko in the bright blue pattern (Dont recall the actual name of the color). They tear them up, I love the action of those Senkos when fished weightless.

Undoubtedly, my favorite plastic is a zoom lizard with the zoom fluke pulling in at a close second. I fished the senkos last year for the first time and they were definately a productive bait but I am not convinced that they are more productive than my good 'ol lizard or fluke. It's all about confidence and I just have less confidence in the senko.

Haven't done much BB fishing but for the stripers we used to catch behind Granbury a 10" Sluggo was our go to bait. They would kill them when they wouldnt bite anything else.

I went to TRB and found their site and sent them a message. I also printed off a application for sponsorship. I seriously doubt that I will get the staff position but it is certianly worth a shot. Their baits look very promising and I look forward to giving them a try.

Don't you own or co-own TRB? I added a link to TRB in my related links section and made it accessable from the ramp.

I will talk with Kelly when I go to the office today. He's a good guy, I will give him a heads up on your paperwork. I am sure he will have no problem sponsoring you.

Chad, they should be stocking at Academy and Bass Pro.

TRB appreciates the love, I will update TRB and link over here as well.

Thanks

Heck yal'l lost me the minute you said ZOOM ZOOM PURPLE/PUMPKIN PEOPLE EATER etc...

Man the new baits names that are out there are absolutely mind boggling. I can't keep up with all the new names, but the shapes and colors look familar 10 - 20 years ago.

Thanks Jason, I'll get it filled out PDQ and mailed. Also... thanks for the link buddy. I hope you get to make it to one of our day at the lake events -- they are way too much fun... :-)

Rob, I gave up trying to keep up a long time ago... :-)
BTW, I caught a fish today that reminded me a lot of you... Tex has the picture on his camera so hopefully he will get them posted soon...

That fish reeks of STUDLIKE prowess and compact strength. I can almost guarantee you drop that little BTard into a keg of beer and 3 hours later that keg will be bone dry and your bass boat will be missing. :-)
