Around the Lago Vista area you can fish a black plastic worm and do pretty well rigged Texas Rig. The lake is so deep, nearly 90% of the bass are within 30 yards of the shore line.

Catfish hang under the boat docks too. Just toss a good old blood bait stink bait rig out on a bottom rig with 1 - 2 ounces of weight and let it soak. Night time when the lights are on around the boat docks are best for catfish and large mouth. Just drop the black plastic worm straight down and bounce it up and down on the bottom directly under the light during the hottest part of summer.

I love fishing boat dock lights at night from a boat or from the boat dock. I've hooked a couple of bass that broke off my 10lb test line (never got a view how big) on Lake Travis.

Speaking of Lake Travis....Wes let's get your boat running.
