Fishing is not the only game around. There are some other good things about living in SLa.

I miss the coast bad Bigun. At least I can view that long lost world from your lens.

Looks like excellent times. Brings back some very fond memories.

That's just plain cruel.

Are the crabs a littke skinny right now? Kenneth said the crawfish are big right now also!

PQ, We have a lot crab and shrimp in the summer down here. Last summer I bought 75lbs medium/large shrimp right off of the boat - cought that day - for $3.50/lb! I sold most of it off but still have 7 or 8 lbs in the freezer - along with flounder, spec, red, and sandies.

This summer, bring the kids down and we can take them crabbing in some of my trout holes - where they can catch crabs while we catch trout, flounder, and reds!

Dean, these crabs were so full you could not get any seasoning to them. Completed packed with meat. They were pretty awesome except needed a little more seasoning for my taste. Crawfish are running very nice but still a little high in price for me. It should be an awesome season with all the water that is in the spillway.

Wes the call is on. I'm ready pick a date and we can grab our catfish poles and put them to work out there too!

Bigun we plan on using John's free bait to catch flatheads in the Guadalupe. All keepers go into a stock tank at the fish farm. If they aren't flatheads, well I guess we need cornmeal/flour (with Coonie shake) and oil? Thats all the excuse we need isn't it? :-) I'll bring some Pope & Young link sausage, marinated backstraps and we should be set.
