well i finally got pics of the new boat. picked it up yesterday
we decided to go bowfishing, heres a friend of mine in his boat
he has a 5k generator and a lot of lightsand he was running them all night while we ran only a spotlight. they shot only carp but we got into some big gar(for the lake)
i think it has something to do with the generator
the coolest part of last night was yet to come my buddy mike was shooting my bow (giving me a breather)
when he took two shots at a really big gar, he missed both times and handed the bow to me. i shot 13 times at this same gar hit it twice and finally boated it.
just went down to the fisheries office and it is a bowfishing record and a all tackle record for twin buttes
so i got a new boat, took it out the first time, and shot a water body record. how cool is that!!!!!!!!

Sounds like your off to good start with the new boat. Hopefully the crappie will be just as good to you.

Absolutely sweet start there Sturm... Heck of a way to break her in... That boat looks solid as a rock and should do you well for many years to come.
Don't matter if Rod or Bow fishin... It's still fishin and that haul deserves recognition...
Congrats on a great night out buddy... She's broke in now and ready for some crappie action...
