I can't pull up the video at work but if it is handfishing for catfish I've done it. It really is fun. |

There is nothing like "noodling". Biggest to-date is 47lbs. We went several times last year and came home with enough to feed the family at our annual get together in Gainsville. |

Wow that brings back memories. I used to do it with my dad when I was alot younger. It took some coaxing to get me to stick my hand in a hole the first time. I have definately shed some blood along the way. I haven't done it in a long time. A buddy invited me last year to go with him to a nearby lake, but I declined. Glad I did cause he ended up getting busted by the G.W... By the way I always did it legally on the Oklahoma border.

No better way to spend a hot summer day than feeling around for a big flathead. Lakes are cleaner but a river can produce some nice fish. We pulled over 100lbs of fish out of one trash pile a couple of years ago. I will try to get my brother to come up and video next year. I have some pics of a few that came out of Texhoma last year and will try to post them. |
