Got the go-ahead from the Mrs. for Sunday morning fishing with the boys. :-)
We launched at 7am. The lake looked awesome, calm and covered in fog.

Doesn't matter if you're in a Ranger or an old aluminum canoe, the anticipation is the same.

Mark and Sean hit the point while I stopped where a spring feeds into the lake.

Sean pulled an all nighter, but showed up on time and got us started, sort of. :-)

I hooked my first nibble.

Mark hooked a nice Spotted Bass.

Then I got a call from home. My 11 month old was cranky and Mom couldn't get her Sunday school lesson prepared. Come home, was all I heard. :-(

Mark caught a couple more after the fog lifted.

No monsters but everybody caught a fish.

When I got home all was better, we got Cat's lesson prepared and little man calmed down. She tells me, why don't you go fishing Monday after work?:-):-)

2 more hours to go! I'll post a report tomorrow.

Sure was hard working this weekend knowing that it was 80 degrees outside. Of course I get off Wednesday when the rain and cooler weather sets in. I'm determined to hit a lake this week though no matter what the weather. Great write up Clark. Congrats on the fish caught.
