I only boated 1 fish and placed 56th out of 80 entries. How did ya'll fair this weekend in your tournaments...?

3 fish for 8.3#. Finished 6th, paid 4. I just couldnt get a pattern going. I caught my fish on a purple and brown jig with a purple trailer and a Lucky Craft pinter jerkbait in tablerock shad. The tourney was one on jerkbaits. |

My partner and I took 1st place. Weighed four fish for a little over 11lbs.

Way to go guys. I'm ready to get my club tournaments started. I'm just not confident enough to fish the big ones.

Me either Tex... But I actually thought this would be much smaller since it is so new. Now that I am in it I want to see it thru.
I strongly reccommend that everyone who can make it come and fish the Irving Bass Club Semi-Annual Open tournament on Lake Fork... That is one of the biggest I have ever fished next to the Skeeter Owner's. Generally close to 400 people in that one if not more. But for some reason it is a really fun tourney with a pot load of door prizes given away. I have a blast every time no matter how many fish I weigh in. I have placed 1 place out of money twice in that one.

OZ-I fished Pomme De Terre lake, North of Springfield, MO. Dont hold it against me though. I actually lived in San Antonio for four years when I was in grade school. |
