I knew we should take the camera. The wife and I grabbed our rods and a couple of small spinners yesterday evening and went to one of our small ponds on the back side. I caught 15 and she caught 9. Some were real heavy with eggs. I caught one that looked to crowd 7lbs, several in the 3/4 lb. range. Fun Fun

Sounds like a great afternoon of fishing... I miss having access to a nice pond just a half mile up the road from the house. He sold the place and I never felt right asking the new owners for access since the pond is right in front of the house.

Congrats....
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

I have several ponds to fish from. I love it, and hope one day to own a nice lake.

Congrats on the fish!

Hit the 8 acre pond here at the house late yesterday evening and caught more than I could count. Big male crappie in about a foot of water eating the 1/4 oz. spinner. Caught one well in excess of 1 1/2 lbs. Most bass were males but several females in the 2/3 lb. range with bellies busting with eggs. It is beginning. The ole Basscat will be rolling out next week as this weather calms a little.

go for it Mike,,

It may be hard to believe, but I caught my largest bass in a stock tank, it was on a deer lease we had when I was a kid. Prolly didn't weigh but 5 or 6 lbs.. But then again, we fished to kill time back then, never have really fished hard for bass,, maybe I'm a little underqualified to be here??
But,, I might just start fishing a little harder,, just to spite you guys !!
Dadgummit,, if Moser can catch a trout,, I reckon I can catch a bass,,
