Well, IBC finished up our second tournament of the year at the Pines and Michele and I won 2nd place in the open division . I had a (5)@15.00lbs and Michele had (2)@3.00lbs on Saturday. Sunday I had (2)@5.00 amd Michele (1)@1.50lbs. We totaled 24.50lbs.for the weekend. The fishing was good with lots a small fish caught on traps in shallow water. Lot's of really nice spots caught arounds deep banks with rocks. We should have the standing posted on the website next week. www.irvingbassclub.com

Sweet Oz... Congrats to you and Michele on a strong finish. That should help in your yearly points standings... :-)

I've gone to the Pines one time. It was a great lake. We mainly stayed in one cove down by the dam. I couldn't believe the size of the spots we were catching. We also caught some nice largemouth. I just wish it was a little closer.

Great job in the tournament.
If you're richer than me I think we're related. If you're poorer than me I know we're related.

I was near the dam and hooked a spot on a trap, once I got her near the boat I could see another one in the same size range trying to get the trap out of it's mouth. That darn fish chased it all the way to the top of the water. If Michele wasn't screwing with here tackle at the time she could have netted both of them. It was really cool to see. That fish was over 15" too. The club allows us to weight-in 12" spots. In fact the 15lbs stringer I had on Saturday one was a 12.5" spot.
I'm thinking about hitting the Platinum Bass at Palestine on Saturday is anyone else?

Way to go Oz. Were you able to get the triton in time to fish this tourny?

You look up your old toothless friend at the lake? .

I'm purchasing it from a Triton/Terminator bass pro Scott Dean. Once his new boat arrives we do the switch if you will... You'll see his photo in the new BPS fyler that was just sent out last week.
