Did you find out anything today on which day you want to fish? I can fish friday or saturday. I don't see a problem taking off Sat. night if that works better for you. I just need to know probably by tomorrow in order to put in for the night off.
Sorry I didn't get your call at the lake. My new cell phone apparently doesn't ring over at Fork and I don't get the voice mail notice until I come back into regular service. I was going to drop a hat off to you but the rain and staying on the lake to long I decided to go on home. I'll have it to you before the tournament. Heck if your going to be around your house Thur. night I may drive over with the boy while my oldest girl is at dance.

I have class on Tue & Thur nights and rarely get home before 9:00pm... Heck, just hang onto it and I will get it from you when we go to the lake. Right now I am thinking that Saturday should be our day if you can get it off. I am taking all of next week off and then the 19th off also so I should not take of this Friday also. I know that my wife is not going to be happy, but it kinda makes up for it that I will be working on the house all next week with the exception of a few fishing days out of the 9.

I am catching a truck load of flack for wanting to fish on Saturday -- kids soccer, vet appt, etc... I am wondering if we should not try and do it on Friday or Monday.

Now she is giving me the OK to fish on Saturday, just getting the grumbling and stuff from her. It really would be better for me to fish on Friday other than having to take the time off work. Then I could take the kids to soccer on Saturday and she could take the horse to the vet. I would love to make this TBH event with the family and have some fun times.
Decisions decisions....

I can do friday or saturday. Monday is probably out for me since there is already someone taking off that night. Another option for you if you had to fish Monday is to take your oldest girl or someone else as your partner. I can usually find a partner pretty quick if needed.
You just do what's best for you and keep that family happy.

We are on for Saturday. I asked her again and she said that she would rather not have to take the kids to school on Friday or have to take time off work on Monday -- she said to fish Saturday.
We need to work on the details and decide where we are fishing. Don't make me go fish water we have never fished before...

How about I give you a call at your house Wednesday night. We need to get signed up so we can discuss what sidepots we want to enter.
I checked the signup list so far and it looks like we may be the only ones from the club fishing that day. We should have the lake to ourselves.
I'll tell you about my secret spot on the phone. I don't want any lurkers watching the site to find out how we're going win.

Now Texfisher, what would make you think that there are "lurkers" around here? I thought we were all friends here. he he Too bad you guys have to fish saturday, I was looking forward to meeting picou. Maybe next time. |

Bummer HB... Hopefully we can all meet up at a lake in the near future for another fun day of fishing. What day are you fishing? Good luck and let all of them get off before you get them in the boat...
