Anybody tried the Cajun line? A friend of mine was using it and its red in color and looked to me like it completely disappeared when it entered the water. I bought some 17lb. and some 12lb.

I tried some and had a ton of problems with it popping inside my reel spool. Seemed very soft. The boating store I got it from said not to use anything under 17 lbs for whatever reason.

I know have it on all my reels and love it. I have fewer backlashes and nots in it than I did in any other line I have tried.

I'll probably turn into a floating turd and Picou will break the knob off my post counter immediately. ATW 2/10/05

What poundage do you guys use that like it?

My experiences has lead me to the camo Triplefish line. I fish mainly with 12 lb test except in the summer when I'm throwing TopDogs I'll go up to 17lb. Hard to beat for me.

I have 14 on my Curado and 17 on everything else. Only reason I have 14 on the Curado is it is all Academy had it in when I bought it.

Never heard of it but might have to check it out. Really hard to get me to switch from Big Game considering the success I have had with it over the last 6 or 7 years.
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

I have to agree with Picou. Hard to switch from a proven line. But I do have enough rods that putting it on one to test won't hurt anything though.

I may have to try it again. I tried it when it first came out. Maybe they have improved their product.

As a matter of fact I got some put on my reels just this last weekend.Since I'm new to fishing I've really never tested any of them others.I caught hell about it this weekend though or my dad did from Will.
