I took my son Ryan, and his best friend, Cabo fishing this afternoon and they caught a nice little bass. They were pretty excited and are ready to go again (I think they have fishing fever), but that's a good. Here's some pics of their fishing trip.

Way to go boys! Awesome fish!!
I know all you fellers will want to know...we have a park in town that has about a 3-5 acre lake. It used to be bigger, but they made it smaller and then built the park around the lake. Gina and I were walking around the "walking track" while the boys fished. They said he put up a good fight, but we missed it. Ryan is my nephew, and he and Cabo are outdoor finatics!!!

Thanks guys and gals.
I've lurked here for a while and Audra suggested that I should post a pic of the fish that the boys caught, so here I am.
I'm sure that my son and I will want to fish lots more this spring and summer and I'll keep ya'll posted on our catches. |
