Well, I made it back from Rayburn. My partner and I finished 46th out of 84 teams. We weighed a limit for 11.38lbs. We had three fish in the boat by 9:00am. and started culling fish around 11:00.

Despite a couple of glitches such as running out of gas on Friday (Gas gauge said we had a 1/4 of tank), my trim switch malfuctioning on Saturday and having to find a place to stay at the last minute, I fell fortunate to have weighed a limit, we just could not locate larger fish.

We are sitting in 23rd place for total points standings.

Glad you able to get a limit of fish. 46th is a lot better than 84th. Don't ya just hate boat troubles, especially on tournament day. you guys will get 'em next time.

Way to go Charles. Looks like you guys are in good position to make a charge to the top.

What kind of conditions did you have? What did you catch your fish on? I need some good information. Mike is not teaching me anything when I go with him.
If you're richer than me I think we're related. If you're poorer than me I know we're related.

I'm going up to the camp for a week starting tomorrow. Any heads up on what the bass are biting and where?

Welcome to the Ramp Baygall... Hopefully someone who has been to Rayburn lately will chime in and give some details.

I would imagine they are starting to turn onto soft plastics with this warm water. I'd be looking shallow for bass this weekend.

Baygall,

Welcome to the site.

I was at Rayburn this past weekend. We concentrated on the buck brush around the mid lake area throwing Texas rigged plastics and spinner baits.

We covered alot of water paying paticular attention to secondary points.

Let us know how you end up doing.

Thanks ya'll, This is my first night back to work after a long weekend. The weather on Rayburn didn't help much with the fishing. I did manage to catch fish every day. I think I have a picture or two I'll try to post this weekend. It sure was windy and cool up there the last couple of days.

Glad you were able to get some fish. That wind has been brutal this year and making fishing tough... Lookin forward to the pictures.
