Well I picked my boat up from the shop with new motor mounted ,and ready to scream today...wishin I could spend the weekend on the water!

Sweet Drifter... That looks like a fish catching rig for sure. Looking forwatd to lots of pics from that one...

Hey Drifter, What ya think about the Carolina? Mine is similiar set up as yours. Only thing I don't like is how it slides and then bites on hard turns. Very dangerous. I won't loan this boat to anyone without lifejacket instructions

You know, I'm still in the breakin period, and havent had her full throttle yet, but it hasnt been nearly as squirrely as I suspected, the old 20 Merc I had on her pushed her about 24 MPH, and never got squirrely at all. This motor pushed it the same at less than half throttle, gonna run some more tomorrow, and if the wind isnt as bad will get to run faster on some smooth water! It may get a little squirrely at WOT but it just maens you gotta use your head, I've been running pure flat bottom boats most of my life!
