Fished my club tournament today with my dad. Wind was was howling out of the south in the morning before letting up a tad in the afternoon. My dad was only able to get a couple of little ones. Nothing he wanted his picture taken with. I managed 4 fish with two over 5 pounds. Here's the pics of my fish.
Too bad Mike wasn't there to see I can actually catch some fish.

You should be ashamed taking a picture of you with your dad's fish...
Congrats on catching some good fish. Man it has been a tough spring. I wish I could have participated in this one but tomorrow I will be at the Rodeo and watching Clint Black. I would have to fish on Monday and I just cannot take another day off work -- I think... 
Still not convinced it wasn't your dad's fish you took the pictures of

After the beating I took at Fork I was just happy to get a fish in the boat. The rest were just the icing on the cake. Too bad you're going to miss this one. We had 3 fish 21" or bigger caught Friday with only 6 guys fishing. It should only get better with the warmer weather and moon phase.

I saw this posting Friday night. Texfisher and I are in the same fishing club. I sure was looking in the background trying to figure out where he was at on that lake. he he he I finished saturday with 1 fish. 4lbs. Nice fish! |
