Went fishing Saturday A.M. about 10:15 with Bigun and my other uncle Mark. Got out there, went back up in the marsh to go catch some Specaled Trout, got stuck ( Hey Wade, you uh... WENT THE WRONG WAY !!! ). We got outta there, went perch jurkin' and well didn't get any. So then we where gonna go Fresh water fishin for some Socalay, Again didn't get any of them eather. We had heard that nobody had been catchin anything worth talkin about but we stil went to get outta the house ! The water was clean in most places, except for back up in the marsh and that was only because of us digging a whole new canal back there to get our selves out of !!! Still had some fun. In the end we caught 2 fish, 1 Bass, and 1 Socalay.

Two fish are still better than 0 fish. Good luck next time.

Fishing was very slow this weekend. Even the trout shut down this weekend from the reports. I fish Friday for one crappie (sac-a-lait) and freshwater fished all afternoon Saturday for one bass and one sac-a-lait. Water still a little cold. It should be on by Thursday hopefully. Water was 58 in the canals and 54 in the lake. With a whole week of 70's weather predicted, they should pull up on the beds anytime.

BTW, We did not get stuck. You are never stuck as long as you have a Yamaha! We just dug a new ditch is all. :-)
