My cousin said he hadn't been fishing in a boat in quite some time. So we decide to fish at Texoma this past thursday. Turned out to be really cold that morning. All started out ok. Backed the boat in the water, started up ok. I looked back to make sure water was spitting from the motor and nothing! What a bummer. Decided to ease up the points heading toward Eisenhower and picked up a smallmouth. Not extremely big, 2 1/2 lbs. but my biggest smallie! Cousin hooked a dink right at the boat but it came off. Only fished a few hours then went to get the boat fixed. First time trying to post a picture on here so lets see how it goes. |

Since I had a tournament coming up I went ahead and took it in to the shop. they replaced the water pump. I got to the tournament saturday morning and couldn't back the boat off the trailer. NO REVERSE!!!!! Will have to look into that Wednesday. |

Very nice smallie... Bummer on the motor problems. Sounds like they did not put the shaft back in properly when they replaced the water pump....
