Took my grandpa fishing last Friday, Sunday and yesterday. We caught 16, 12 and 24 respectively. I caught a 1 3/4# pound male on Friday and a 1 1/4# female yesterday. It was a little cool to take gramps today with the wind blowing like it was. No pics as I don't have my download cable down here. Yall know what crappie look like anyways. In an other week it should be non-stop in the shallows. Most of males we caught were in less than 2ft of water. The females are still holding in about 8 ft but are full of eggs. |

Picou, Just go to the lake and find you some shallow willows or a rocky shoreline and get after it. Shouldn't be too hard to locate. |

Gozzie, Rumor has it they are full blast on up the Bayou toward flat rock crossing. Don't know personally as we haven't gone up the river in a boat. Just what we have been told by lots of people putting in at Thunderbird and heading up the bayou. |

Nice job Jason! I'd give anything to go fishin with either of my grandads just one more time. Fishing is alot like sex: Even when it's bad it's still pretty good!
