Since it looks like it will be raining tomorrow, Audra and I along with a friend of mine went to Tawakoni today. We hit the water around 2:15 and within 15 minutes we had boated about 8-10 pretty big sand bass. Then Audra () decided to move because they were not biting as often. We tried a spot about 300 yards away, but they weren’t biting there at all. Of course when I :-) talked her into trying the original spot, they had moved out of the area. The seagulls were thick, I’m sure we saw around 200 in one area, but the fish were not biting very much. We finally wound up cleaning 27 sand bass, and threw back another 8-10. Patrick, my friend, wouldn’t keep any to start with because he didn’t want to clean them, but finally started keeping them after he caught 5-6 fish. There were only a couple of fish that were under 12” with most of them between 13” and 16+”. Here are some pics of today’s catch.

OMG... The Latimer klan actually does fish... :-)

Looks like a great mess of sandbass ya'll got into. Good thing you let Audra tell you where to fish... :-)

Glad ya'll made it out to the lake and tried your hand at Tawakoni. Also glad ya'll got into the fish. Not quite the stripers you were looking for but a great mess of fish none the less.
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish
