Well folks, The trout should be turning on very soon. I went fishing last week and cought a few trout and some drum. I would like to coordinate a trout trip with a variety of fishermen / fisherwomen working the same area for a morning, day or afternoon (or night). Basically a FTN Trout challenge. Maybe get several of us together and meet at any ramp in either Galveston, Port O'Conner, or somewhere where someone knows where the Trout are and can hopefully put everyone into the spot! Any Ideas? All In A Days Fun!!!

I'd love too but there is just too darn much going on up here. The next couple months are going to be jam packed... You take a weekend and come up here to help me get some things done and that may help me get down there to do some fishing. Connie mentioned when we left your house how much she enjoys visiting with Susy. Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

How about we have a joint FTN and TRB trout day? We already have a date set and are looking at facilities in Port O. It is May 13, 14 and 15. How about that Dean, then Picou has enough time to get things done. |

Dean, I may be interested but right now am trying to get a trip to Lake Calcasieu/Big Lake going with some friends in Lafayette in May. If this falls thru/does not happen, I may have a free weekend. I've been known to pinch a tail or two in my life!

Big P - I am interested in that one in Port O'Conner! Any idea how many will be going? I might get a few friends together and rent a beach house over the weekend? PQ - hurry up and get-r-done!! How much ya still have to do? This could be a great experience for ya! Maybe I might be able to make it up there for a few days? Wade - I fished Calcasieu once - the biggest trout cought was about 13 inches! I was not very impressed! If you all have a slot for one or if I could follow with my boat - let me know - I might be interested. I think it is about a 2 hour drive from Houston? Sound right? All In A Days Fun!!!

Should be about a 2hr drive. I can be across the W side of Houston right at 5 hrs from here if traffic not too bad. Will do. I've never fished it. My friend's son guides over there somewhere. Said that Lake is all about knowing it. Only find fish on specific reefs. Lots of unproductive water is info I get. I've been known to pinch a tail or two in my life!

Enough to keep me busy for the next 3 years every weekend. Shall we start with the remodeling of the house that has been going on for probably 5 years... Then the barn is constantly needing attention, then of course the landscaping, cannot forget about the fence work, or my wife's riding arena, etc..... It is never ending. She wonders why I will not finish some projects and the reason is the minute I finish one she piles another on my plate. I'll see what I can do about a trip to the coast. Renting a beach house and bringing my family would be the easiest way for me to get away with it. Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

You should get your Uncle to come up and stay with you for about a month and do it for you. I've been known to pinch a tail or two in my life!

Maybe Kenneth... Mike - since you will never finish any of your projects I have elected not to help. Progress must be made! Also since you'll never finish any of them - why start? Just keep the house warm or cool and dry and don't worry about any thing else!? Horses dont mind a little water and hay can be covered with a tarp. Just get some goats and sheep and you wont have to mow any more. Why make it so complicated? After all - the only really important thing is ---- catching fish!! All In A Days Fun!!!
