A real nice haul today. I weighed 10 over 2 lbs and there was a bunch over 1 1/2 lbs. I caught a blue cat that weighed 9lbs 2 ozs on a 10 ft crappie pole on 8 lb test line. he was just starting to get lined out and wrapped his tail around the line and Nana was able to net him. VERY unlucky blue.

The king and queen have been crowned. All hail the barndoors... Them's some dandy fish right there...

Congrats on another great day of fishing. That is a mess of great fish right there. I never had that kind of luck when I fished Conroe. Ya'll definately have them figured out.
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Yesssssaaa!!! That's a good haul right there now. What are you catching those crappie on and what's the water depth? I've got my freezer full of crappie but I never latched on to any that size, that's for sure. Good going.

Man, what awesome fish! You guys are some crappie slayers! I've maybe caught one crappie my whole lifetime that went 2lbs. I've caught a bunch, they just don't get that big around here. CAJUN CONGRATS TO YA!
I've been known to pinch a tail or two in my life!

Heck no... I'll never get tired of giving ya'll awards for fish. Post away... Give us some more details like technique and baits and stuff like that so that maybe one of these days we can catch some monsters like ya'll do...

I sure don't get tired of seeing slabs. This is a fishing board so post up some more pics. I'd love to see 'em. I figured you were catching them in shallow water. Are you fishing brush or open water?
