That is sweet that it will be at Oak Ridge... I get an extra 15 minutes on the water for this one... :-)
I might just have to start out where we saw those 7 bass in a 15 foot area...

IBC puts on a great tournament at fork twice a year. If you haven't fished it in the past you should. I have to work that weekend Oz, otherwise I would be there. |

Ok, I was too wooped to even log on yesterday but I can muster up an update before I head off to bed tonight...
I ended up boating 5 fish all day and only 3 of them were weighers. The guy who fished with me didn't boat a single fish. I weighed in 5.4 lbs and it was not close to the money. There were 280 entries in the tournament but the lake was not really bad. I only ran across one other boat that was in the tournament other than Ozziefish.
Speaking of Ozziefish, he is one heck of a guy. We pulled up to him around 11:00am and he told me he had 2 in the box. I asked what he was catching them on and he told me. Not only did he tell me, he gave me one of them even though he was running low. I ended up boating 3 bass on that bait he gave me and missed one other blow up as I pulled it out of the reeds. Thanks Oz, I owe you buddy...
Had a great time and saw a lot of fish cruizing the shallows. Some parts of the lake they are in the middle of the spawn and other parts they are still getting ready.
I had a good time but that was a long day. I was whooped when I got home...

Partner didn't boat a fish. At least I'm not the only one.

There was only 1 fish over the slot weighed in and it was 9.66 pounds. Unfortunately, I did not get any pics. My biggest for the day was 19.5 inches and I never put a scale to it.
Oh yea' Tex, he had a couple fish on but lost them both on the way back to the boat...
