The Triton is down, the Triton is down!! :-( I hit a stump at Fork last Saturday fishing a CABA tournament. I had just hammered down when we hit it. I bent the prop shaft and bent two blades. Good thing I still have the old Javelin :-) Here's the story as I told it to PQ.
To tell you the whole story:
We were the last boat out. We started catching fish at our first stop and had four fish by 7:30 (lost a monster on a trap). We were going to the next spot but the cranking battery went dead so we had to fish and troll back to Minnow Bucket 3-4 miles and get a loaner battery form the tournament director. That was around noon by the time we got there. We hit the stump around 1:30 and had to troll another few miles back to weight-in. When we tried to load the boat with the trolling motor rope broke and the motor slammed down into the trailer and damaged the prop not to mention the cord was only 3" long now and one pain in the to release the motor so I could lift it up. Well the trolling motor started drifting away from the trailer... I jumped in the lake and pushed as Briner cranked and the boat made it onto the trailer. The real kicker was when I went to get our 5 fish from the live well one fish had died and it cost us 2 places... The next morning I had a flat tire on the truck just as a bonus!! We ended up in 10 place which moved us into 2 place in the piont standings for the year.

Now that is the kind of luck that I am used to having. Don't worry bad luck only runs in five year spells.

That's my biggest fear. I've been lucky so far not to take one hard enough to do some damage. Glad nobody was hurt.

They've worked on my stuff for a few years now. Tommy always treated me fair.
