Caught this bass on about a 4" perch out at my ranch in Jarrell a few days ago. My digital scale read 6.1 lbs on her, not the biggest fish we have pulled out of that river, but my biggest in a good while.

Nice catch. 6lbs is big fish in my books. What river are you on? Wish we had fish that big in the Pedernales. Well Bass anyway.

Thats on the headwaters of the Salado Creek, lots of boulders in the water and a real deep channell running right down the middle of it.
