Fished the jetties yesterday afternoon - Cought 2 keeper trout and 2 keeper reds (let them go) - No Tide Movement is at fault here. If you would throw out a shrimp with a 1/8oz split shot it would sink straight down. Lots of bait in the water though!

I cought a few small bait fish on my way down and bought a quart of shrimp also. My Reds were cought on the bait fish and 1 trout was cought on a bait fish. The other trout hit a shrimp - I think he hit it because I foul hooked him in his side. Next time I check the tides and catch more bait fish before I go out..
All In A Days Fun!!!

Very good Dean. Live bait can be the ticket but I hate to have to fish it.

I'm thinking about bringing the kids tomorrow if the depression is not going to cause major wind tomorrow.

We had it tough in Port Aransas as well. I think it has something to do with the tropical depression that hit the gulf late last week.

Congrats on at least getting a few. It'll get better soon... Maybe I should make that link to the tidal charts on the home page so it would be easier for you to check them... :-)
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish
